From cockpit to cloud

I’ve had a uniquely varied career journey. Originally trained as a commercial airline pilot, I transitioned into IT during the financial crisis. In both fields, I discovered my passion for structure and streamlined processes—a consistent theme throughout my career.

My IT journey began in a support role within the fashion industry, quickly evolving into department leadership, application management, and eventually infrastructure. This path led me to ASICS, where I met Edwin and Ben and gained extensive experience in managing infrastructure and business applications.

After a period as Infrastructure Lead in aviation, I joined Trelion in 2023 as Senior Consultant and CTO. Here, I’ve tackled diverse projects, including guiding clients toward ISO 27001 certification and modernizing workplace, network, and application solutions.

I specialize in IT governance, security (ISO 27001), Agile methodologies, ITSM, and have deep technical expertise in Microsoft Cloud solutions like Azure.

On a personal note, I live with my wife and daughter near the Dutch coast and enjoy spending my free time listening to rock music and relaxing with family and friends.
